“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” -Anais Nin

“I had the pleasure of taking a workshop that Kim was co-leading on anatomy and alignment not too long ago. What stood out for me about Kim is her attention to detail and mindfulness of the body . As a result, she has very intentional cuing that gets most students in alignment the first time through. She also has a strong and yet caring persona that makes the flow of asana practice not only soothing for the body, but also for the mind. One of the few teachers that I can be instructed by, and go deep into my practice while being fully present. ”

Kim’s class lasts in my body, my mind, and my heart far after I roll up my mat and step back out into the world. She has a way of affecting you in a soft, yet poignant way. It’s hard to put into words. But you feel this sense of warmth and transcendence of barriers when she’s around. You become a little more limitless. I appreciate her bubbling spring-source of love, compassion and deep wisdom for the practice.
